Summer Camp from the 5th to the 11th of August 2012 Speacker : Mariette Louw TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT Les camps inTouch ont pour but de bénir les personnes de tout âge qui ont travaillé ou qui servent Dieu à Jeunesse En Mission (JEM), ainsi que leur famille et amis. Les camps sont aussi pour des personnes qui aimeraient découvrir Jeunesse En Mission. About the speaker : Mariette Louw is South African by birth but has been living in Scotland long enough to become a British citizen. Before joining Youth With A Mission she was a teacher for 10 years - of which 6 were as a Missionary in Zimbabwe. During her more than 30 years in YWAM, Mariette has always been involved in training - this includes involvement in Discipleship Training Schools as well as Schools of Evangelism for many years.
She was involved in the very first School of Intercessory Prayer and ran quite a few of those over many years. Mariette then became a part of the Leadership Training team with Stephe Mayers and Barry Austin which has seen her travel to several countries during the past 13 years - including Scotland, Uganda, Taiwan, Spain and New Zealand.
Mariette was involved in the European Prayer Movement, did many Prayer journeys and started the first full time Prayer ministry in YWAM during the 1980's. She continues to teach in many YWAM schools about "Walking & Living in the Spirit" and "Spiritual Warfare". Her involvement with Leadership schools involves teaching, training and mentoring in the Life of the Spirit. She's mentored scores of people over many years in their prophetic and spiritual giftings. Mariette loves to inspire the Church about actively living out her priesthood role. Her passion is to see the Body of Christ living in the power of the Spirit and she therefore gives understanding about the difference between realms of the spirit and the soul .
