Foundations for Counseling Ministry

Do you have a passion for those who have suffered injustice, but wonder, “How could I help?”  If so, check out the Foundations for Counseling Ministry School in the beautiful Champagne region of France.

WHAT
The Foundations for Counseling Ministry School is a 12 week training course followed by a 12 week outreach phase. During the first phase, the student learns basic relational and counseling skills through lecture and study devoted to such topics as Personality, Christian Identity, Forgiveness, and the Father’s Heart. The second portion, the outreach, provides practical experience in a foreign mission field utilizing learned skills.
Built into the school are small groups, worship, intercession, and one-on-one sessions with staff. The closeness of community gives ample opportunity to build relationships, character, and use new skills in day to day living and sharing. You will receive 12 credits for each phase if completed successfully.

WHERE
Come be a part of our Foundations for Counseling Ministry School in the beautiful Champagne region of France. JEM Champagne oversees 6 buildings, part of a former orphanage in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. You will love the food and the ambience of the French village lifestyle.

WHEN
The Foundations for Counseling Ministry School will begin September 21, 2012, and finish the lecture phase on December 14, 2012. The outreach will begin after the successful completion of the lecture phase, and will last for another 12 weeks on a foreign field, to be announced.
