Hello.
Perseverant, loves challenges,
stubborn!... I've been with Youth With A Mission since 1989. My desire is to see people from every nation, tribe, people group and language meet their Creator and be able to worship him with their own cultural identity.
I've worked for 12 years in Russia, especially
in Kamchatka, sharing the life of an Eskimo tribe known as the Koriaks.
I also travel to many countries to help with pioneering missionary works. In France, at our centre, I run the School of Biblical Studies. And to finish with, I love chocolate!

Hello. One of my driving passions is to see a new generation of missionaries raised up in France and around the world who will incarnate the gospel in our countries and to the people of the world without personal ambition or nationalism. But rather to make known the love of God for the nations while still taking into account historical and cultural issues. I also believe that the gospel should not only touch individuals but our entire societies. Current revivals in several continents are transforming the hearts and lives of people and changing their nations as well. As a citizen, I am praying and working for the good of my town and my nation. As a YWAMer and elsewhere I always want to be a positive, peaceful and relevant element in my generation and my country.

To begin with, I did my Discipleship Training School and then continued to work at the renovation of our chapel for one year. After that I moved to the offices, first as the accountant, and then to join the leadership team as the administrator of the centre. My goal is to develop this ministry and to make all the other YWAM ministries "possible". It is true that all the activities of YWAM in France produce an enormous amount of administrative work. (Accounting, management of personnel and activities, hospitality, etc.) I am also involved in the National Leadership team that deals with all the YWAM associations in France. My role there is the same as for the centre in Gault la Forêt, only at the national level. I really enjoy these activities and hope to develop new areas so that we can grow and be a blessing to the nation. Gault la Forêt is situated in the Champagne region, a very beautiful area that is called the bread basket of France because of its large cereal production. But most of all it is the land of Champagne, and that is perhaps one of the reasons why I love this region.I am married with two children
(Elisa and Paul). Muriel, my wife, has also been involved at Le Gault for 19
years now. We met in YWAM. Olivier Rafinesque
