YWAM Paris is currently made up of six
part timers who are meeting to pray and make choices to see YWAM Paris
restart.
YWAM Paris does not have a base. We do have a small office that we are
currently renovating.
Ministry Opportunities
Evangelism on the street is run by Jean Claude. JC is co-founder of “Kings
Kids” here in Paris, and is a gifted evangelist. He speaks four languages
and a bit of Chinese. He has an amazing heart for people. Each Saturday JC
and his team are down at the Belleville metro station, one of the most
multi-cultured areas in Paris handing out Bibles, and building relationship
with the regulars and the passers by.
Ministry opportunities are there for those who have a heart to be on the
street and share the Gospel. Some evenings, it is possible to give food,
cups of coffee and spend time with those who live on the streets, as there
are more than you would think.
“Psalmodia”, the music and arts teaching ministry, is headed up by
Judith Robertson. She has released 3 worship CDs, “Ta Maison” (LTC & Flame)
“J’ai besoin d’amour” and “Jubilée” (YWAM France). She also features on a
couple of YWAM Switzerland’s worship CDs and song books.
Ministry opportunities include tutoring in music and the arts,
administrative backup and evangelism through the arts.
“La Fonderie” is headed up by Jim Beise an original YWAMer of YWAM
Paris. Jim launched a pastoral, evangelistic and supportive ministry to and
for artists.
Jim, who is joined by Jonathan, run series of evening events to teach and
offer a café type atmosphere to those working in the arts. This year they
held a Christian arts conference in a church close to le Marais and la
Bastille. The guest speaker was Colin Harbinson with more than 80 in
attendance. Ministry opps include, event organisation, worship leading,
cooking and serving with what needs to get done.
